The Basket Brigade is dedicated to feeding those in need by providing baskets of donated food and household items. The program is built on a simple notion: One small act of generosity on the part of one caring person can transform the lives of hundreds.
Everyone can help. The Thanksgiving Basket Brigade is where volunteers purchase food and supplies and deliver tailor-made gift baskets of food for a Thanksgiving Feast to needy families throughout Central Florida.
How Does Basket Brigade Work?
Pick up a basket and decorate it. During our services on Sunday, October 28 and Sunday, November 4 you will receive a free basket to take home with you. We ask that you take some time and decorate this basket as a family.
Purchase food for the basket. Visit any grocery store and purchase the requested items below. Feel free to add additional items to this list as you would like, however please do not make substitutions for the requested items.
$10 Grocery Gift Card for the purchase of a Turkey. (Please tape in the basket)

Can of Cranberries
Box of Stuffing
Box of Corn Bread Mix
Box/Bag of Mashed Potatoes
Box/Can of Gravy
Can of Green Beans
Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
Cake Mix/Non-Perishable Desert items
Drop off your basket and stay to help deliver the baskets. On the morning of Saturday, November 17, 2018 you will need to drop off your basket to 1420 Celebration Blvd., Celebration, FL 34747 between 9:00am and 10:00am.
Deliver baskets and celebrate. Enjoyment and gratitude are a large part of Basket Brigade and safety is, too! Be alert in neighborhoods you enter, gentle in your presence and safe in your journey when delivering your baskets. Don’t forget to also celebrate as a team and share the joy of giving to others!
