Hear ye. Hear ye.

Habakkuk 2:2 "And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.”

When I first heard this verse taught it was explained in this manner, “We have got to make sure our vision is so clear that someone running through life can read it… people are so busy… so diluted by life that our vision must be a clarifying call in the midst of the tumults of life!”

Very inspiring.

Very wrong.

Kind of.

When the Lord was giving the vision He had to Habakkuk and gave the instruction found in the above verse, God was not implying that our vision should be so clear that someone running could actually read it, rather, God was implying urgency to the vision. “Hurry, write this down clearly so that the person responsible for getting the word out can run off quickly and do his job…” That person responsible for getting the word out was known as a herald. You can almost hear the voice of the herald, “Hear ye, hear ye…” or in more modern days “Extra! Extra! Read all about it.” In other words, what I’m about to shout aloud to the town is important. This will effect your day and affect your heart. PAY ATTENTION!

My dear friends - God has sent me as a herald with great vision for this region in terms of advancing the Kingdom of God. It’s called “The Promise of Home.” Many of you were here when I first started “heralding” this vision. Your response has been both heartwarming and phenomenal. BUT… there are many of you who were not here during that special season and we don’t want you to feel left behind. That’s why this Wednesday, Feb. 20th at 6:30 PM at our offices I’m hosting a special Town Hall meeting you’ve heard me announce on Sundays the last few weeks. If you’d like to hear why the Lord led us to buy land and build a church home, please join us. If you’ve desired to be part of making this vision a reality, please join us. If you want to see our region delivered from bondage and brokenness and filled with the goodness of God, please join us!

You can click the link below to save your seat. I look forward to sharing with you what God has placed on my heart.

Hear ye! Hear ye!
